A man has been charged with a number of offences relating to the abuse of a homeless man in Wigan.
A report was made to Greater Manchester Police that a homeless man had his benefits stolen and was assaulted with a golf club, causing serious injury.
Cieran Harrison, 32, of Logwood Place, Wigan, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, attempted robbery, actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
