Detectives investigating a serious assault in Leeds have arrested a man.
The 28-year-old was arrested from his address in the Kirkstall area in the early hours of yesterday morning, 30 October, on suspicion of assaulting 43-year-old Francis Manda in Harehills on Friday, 29 October.
Mr Manda remains in hospital in a stable condition after sustaining a serious head injury in the attack which involved a baseball bat.
Detectives have now established that the attack took place at about 3.55pm at the junction of Lupton Avenue and Torre Drive.
