An investigation has been launched after a man was allegedly dragged down a street by a police van.
Two Greater Manchester Police officers are being examined by the Independent Office for Police Conduct following the incident outside of Manchester Royal Infirmary.
It is claimed that in the early hours of 27 April a 21-year-old man who had been arrested was being dropped off by officers at the hospital for treatment for facial injuries after being de-arrested.
It is alleged that as the officers attempted to leave the hospital, the van they were driving came into contact with the man.
The investigators are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
