52-year-old Thomas Mair has appeared at London's Old Bailey charged with the murder of Jo Cox last week.
He was remanded in custody ahead of another hearing on Thursday.
He also faces charges of grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
On this occasion he confirmed his name was Thomas Mair after giving it as 'Death to traitors, freedom for Britain' at Westminster Magistrates Court on Saturday. He appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink from Belmarsh prison
