A landlord has appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court to face accusations that his tenants were left to struggle on with holes in the walls and ceilings, broken fire alarms, bare electrical wires, rising damp, and mice droppings in the kitchen.
Officers from Bradford Council inspected flats on St Paul’s Road in Manningham on July 22nd 2015 and found broken fire alarms, bare electrical wires, rising damp, leaking radiators, and building rubble and sheets of glass being found in the back yard of the property.
31 year old Waqa Rashid, also of St Paul's Road pleaded not guilty to 22 charges of failing to comply with regulations in respect of management of multiple occupancy housing.
A case management hearing was scheduled for July 22.
