Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed on a street in Tameside.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after being found with a stab wound on Kelvin Street in Ashton-under-Lyne during Friday (27 July) night.
His injuries are understood to be serious but not life-threatening.
It is believed a man was sat in a car on the street when he was approached by a group of people and a fight broke out.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and has since been released under investigation.
