Detectives have launched an investigation following the death of a man in Wigan.
Shortly after 3.15am on Monday 6 November, police were called to Nicol Mere Drive in Ashton-in-Makerfield to reports that a man had been detained by members of the public following suspected thefts from vehicles.
Officers attended within minutes and discovered an unresponsive man - believed to be in his 20s - who was taken to hospital where he later died.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody for questioning.
