A 99-year-old runner has mowed down a 92-year-old competitor in the final metres of a sprint race.
Orville Rogers narrowly sped ahead of Dixon Hemphill in the 60-metre event at the USATF Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships in New Mexico.
He led for 55 metres before Rogers took over. It was a photo finish and Orville won by five-hundredths of a second.
