Bradford hosted a conference which aimed to improve the way people in hard-to-reach groups get help to quit smoking.
Around 100 nurses and advisors working in GPs’, mental health, pharmacies and children’s centres attended the event to promote best practice to help the district’s smokers.
According to Bradford Council, who hosted the event, smoking is the biggest cause of preventable death in Bradford and two thirds of smokers suggest they want to give up.
