A Bradford-based research group is urging more local families to get involved.
Born in Bradford, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is the UK’s largest study looking into the health of babies.
Since it began in 2007, the study has involved around 13,500 children from across the district. Some of the areas the study investigates includes assessing the determinants of childhood and adult disease and assessing the impact of migration. The findings help develop health services in the region and the information is shared across the world to assist with research.
Staff from Born in Bradford will be in Kirkgate shopping centre throughout the week to discuss their work and to encourage more people to take part in their research.
