Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a teenager and a car in South Manchester.
At around 11am on Wednesday 26 October 2016, a black Ford KA was travelling along Hollyhedge Road in Benchill when it collided with a stationary black Toyota Corolla.
Just moments after, the Ford KA was involved in a collision with a 15-year-old girl before it overturned and came to a halt on the tram lines.
Emergency services attended the scene and the 15-year-old girl, who sustained serious bruising, was taken to hospital. She has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
The 43-year-old driver of the Ford KA was also taken to hospital with significant arm injuries, which he requires surgery for.
Officers have launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
