Police have arrested four men following an incident of violent disorder in Shipley.
At about 10.42pm on Wednesday, 30 August, officers were called to West Royd Drive following a report of a collision and a firearms discharge.
Armed officers responded and found an abandoned Mitsubishi Shogun with damage which appeared to be consistent with the discharge of a firearm.
Shortly afterwards a 29-year-old man from Shipley attended the scene with injuries.
He was taken to hospital where it was established he had suffered serious head and leg injuries. These are not believed to be life threatening.
His injuries were not thought to be as a result of the discharge, but he was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
Following enquiries three local men aged 28, 31 and 32 were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
They were taken into custody for questioning and enquiries are continuing.
