Four men have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in an attack in Rochdale.
Shortly before 3:30pm on Tuesday 17 October, police were called to Church Road to reports that a man had been attacked with an axe.
Police and paramedics attended and found a man with serious injuries to his hand before he was taken to hospital where he remains for treatment.
Three men in their 20s and one in his 50s have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody for questioning.
