Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford.
At about 8.33pm on Tuesday 28th of March, officers were called by ambulance staff to a collision involving a male pedestrian and a red Toyota Yaris at the junction of Spencer Road and St Wilfrid's Crescent.
The male, who was in his forties, suffered a head injury. He received treatment at the scene but sadly died a short time later.
The driver of the Yaris, a 19-year-old man, was spoken to by officers and arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Enquiries are continuing today and anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of the vehicle prior to the incident is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.
