An elderly woman was critically injured in a road traffic collision in Denholme.
The crash took place at around 8.00am on Wednesday 21 November when a black Honda HR-V car was travelling down Cragg Lane towards Brighouse Road.
The vehicle struck a metal fence at the side of the road and then went down a hill before colliding with a dry stone wall on Brighouse Road.
The occupants, a man and woman in their 70s, were taken to hospital with injuries.
The woman remains in hospital, where her condition is described as critical but stable.
The man also remains in hospital where he is receiving further treatment.
