An elderly man has died following a road collision in Glasgow.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Ibrox.
At around 9:20pm on Wednesday 19 April 2017, 79 year-old David Spence was crossing Paisley Road West when it appears he fell on to the road and was then struck by a silver Nissan Note.
He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.
The male driver of the Nissan Note was not injured.
Sergeant Kenneth Canavan, of Greater Glasgow Road Policing Unit, said: “Members of the public, including a passing paramedic, stopped to assist and Mr Spence was taken to hospital but unfortunately he died. I would ask that anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to contact police.”
