The English Defence League (EDL) has announced that it plans to march in Bradford and Keighley.
The organisation published on its website that it will hold a demonstration starting in Keighley on Saturday 2 September, before moving on to Bradford city centre.
The Unite Against Fascism group has also announced that it plans to oppose the EDL’s presence in the district.
The date coincides with other events taking place in the area, including the Keighley Show, Bingley Music Live and Bradford City playing at home.
The MP for Keighley, John Grogan, has urged residents to remain calm and to go about their plans for the weekend as normal.
