Detectives in Kirklees have made three arrests as part of their investigation into an incident which resulted in a man being assaulted and vehicles being damaged.
Kirklees CID are continuing enquiries today and are continuing to appeal for witnesses after an incident in the car park on Cliffe Street, Dewsbury at abut 1am on Thursday May 12.
A 21-year-old Dewsbury man was assaulted in the incident and his black Honda Civic car was also damaged by a group of men.
Before the alleged assault, it is believed the attackers had followed the victim's Honda Civic from the Shell Petrol Station on Batley Road, in two cars at about 12.30am.

The 21-year-old was not seriously injured in the resulting assault, and several vehicles were damaged in the incidents.
Detective Sergeant Ady Belle of Kirklees CID, said: "We are continuing to investigate these incidents and have attended at a number of addresses in Batley.
"Three Batley men aged 20, 20 and 22 have now been arrested in connection with our enquiries and cars have been recovered for examination.
