A man has been arrested after a dad was stabbed in front of his child on a street in Manchester.
Shortly after 11.40am on Sunday 5 May, police received a report that a man had been stabbed on Southdown Crescent.
The 31-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 29-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
