A 50- year-old man has appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Sander Van Aalten from Kyrwicks Lane, Sparkbrook was arrested on Sunday night as part of the on-going investigation.
Mr Javeed, 56, was shot dead as masked men attempted to rob Direct 3 Ltd in Rea Street South, Digbeth, Birmingham on Wednesday 3 February.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to call West Midlands Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
