Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a teenager from Manchester.
Shahzad Afzal, 14, was last seen at around 4.30pm yesterday, Monday 31 October 2016, at his home address on Cressfield Way, Manchester.
He is described as Asian, around 5ft 9ins, of a slim build with short black hair. He has brown eyes and wears glasses.
It is believed he is wearing a black jumper with leather patches on the shoulders, blue skinny tracksuit bottoms and black and red Nike Air Max trainers.
Police Constable Ben Morton of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “It is extremely out of character for Shahzad not to be in contact with his family for this amount of time.
“He does not have medication that he needs with him so his family are very worried.
“I’m urging anyone who may have seen Shahzad or knows where he is to contact police as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone with information about Shahzad’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
