A cartoonist is arriving in Bradford to host workshops in the district’s libraries.
Dr Simpo will be running sessions with children who want to learn how to draw animals as part of the summer reading challenge, a national libraries initiative delivered by libraries in partnership with the Reading Agency.
The artist will also provide tips to children on how to create animation.
Last year, over 4,200 children in Bradford took part in the challenge, which aims to maintain children’s literacy skills over the summer break with interactive activities.
Dr Simpo will be visiting four libraries across the region from Saturday 12 August.
