Detectives are appealing for information following a firearms discharge on Smiths Avenue, in the Marsh area of Huddersfield.
The incident happened at around 3:40pm on Friday 15 December, with reports of shots being fired at a beige car in the area from a silver Ford Mondeo. The car then fled the scene.
Four males were seen running to a red car before the shots were fired.
There are no reported injuries or damage in the area, but evidence was found at the scene consistent with a firearms discharge.
