The Ukrainian community in Bradford is coming together to celebrate the 70th anniversary of a key cultural organisation.
The Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain was formed in 1945 by Ukrainians living in the UK. A concert featuring traditional dancing and choral music is among events that will take place at the Bradford branch, which was set up in 1948.
Today there are a few hundred Ukrainians still living in the city and, three generations on, the centre still hosts Saturday classes for children and dance classes.
A community garden party will take place in June, with a gala concert scheduled for September.
