A Bradford man has admitted to sexual offences committed against young girls dating back to the 1970s.
Ian Roberts, 67, of Bowling Old Lane, West Bowling pleaded guilty at Bradford Crown Court to 10 offences committed against three girls over a period of over 15 years.
He admitted eight counts of indecent assault against a girl aged under 14, one count of indecent assault against a girl under the age of 16, and one count of committing an act of gross indecency towards a girl aged under 14.
The court heard Roberts has recently been discharged from hospital following major surgery and suffers from cancer and other illnesses.
His case has been adjourned and he will be sentenced in Bradford on Tuesday 7 May. In the meantime, he has been ordered to sign the Sex Offenders' Register.
