A 21 year old Bradford man has been jailed for five years for punching and stabbing his victim - a man who he was antagonistic towards after previously seeing him in the company of a girl he felt protective towards.
Bradford Crown Court heard that Asim Mahmood first punched the victim outside a shisha bar on Edderthorpe Street, on September 16 last year before stabbing him after a chase causing a 4cm long cut that needed stitching.
Mahmood of Idle Road, Undercliffe was convicted of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after a trial in April and has now been sentenced to five years in jail.
