36-year-old, Mohammed Zubair will challenge the legality of his extradition from Pakistan.
Zubair, of Heath Terrace Barkerend is accused of killing Imran Khan and Ahmedin Sayed Khyel after their beaten bodies were found beside a country lane in Tong in May 2011.
He had been held in Pakistan since November 2013 but was extradited back to the UK in May.
Appearing at Bradford Crown Court, Zubair and his legal team announced they were mounting a legal challenge to the extradition process.
He was remanded into custody with a scheduled trial set to take place in January 2017.
40-year-old, Sabir Hussain has already been convicted for his part in the killings of both men.
He was jailed for ten years for manslaughter in 2012 but was cleared of murder.
