Bradford Literature Festival has picked up an accolade from a Yorkshire awards ceremony.
The festival was awarded the Tourism event of the Year trophy at the White Rose Awards in Harrogate.
The annual celebration of literature has been running in Bradford since 2014. 2018’s 10-day festival saw more than 70,000 people flock to the city - a 40 per cent increase on last year and a significant rise from a humble audience of 968 when it began as a two-day event four years ago.
