Bradford is getting behind this year’s National Smile Month.
The Bradford District Care Trust's community dental service has organised a range of events to help promote good oral hygiene throughout the month, which starts on Monday 13 May.
The team will be working in partnership with primary schools, children’s centres, local dental practices and community dental service clinics - providing advice on how to carry out effective toothbrushing, reducing tooth decay and how to keep the mouth healthy.
The campaign will also encourage children and families to take part in a toothbrush swap, where they will be able to bring in their old toothbrush in exchange for a brand new one.
