Bradford is set for a ghoulish night as Halloween revellers take to the streets.
Doorbells will be ringing tonight as trick-or-treaters make their way around the city’s neighbourhoods, but privacy is something West Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson says must be respected.
In a statement he said: “While these events can be great fun, not everyone wants to take part.
“I would ask anyone celebrating to please be mindful of those in your community who may find this time of year unnerving or stressful.”
West Yorkshire Police has created a ‘Sorry - no trick or treat’ poster that can be downloaded from their website and displayed, for those wishing not to take part in the festivities.
