An LGBTQ+ symposium is being hosted in Bradford.
In the 50th year anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in Britain, the event today, 9 October, will provide an introduction to LGBTQ+ culture in the recently opened David Hockney Art Gallery in Cartwright Hall.
This is the first event of this kind organised by Bradford Council’s Museums and Galleries Service and it’s an opportunity for the service to start a conversation with people from across these communities, who they hope will contribute to future plans within the service.
