Plans are being put in place around Bradford for people to watch and celebrate the Royal Wedding over the weekend.
Bradford’s City Hall clock tower bells will ring out at 1.01pm on Saturday 19 May in celebration of the union of Prince Harry and Megan Markle, and at nightfall, the clock tower will be lit up red, white and blue.
The arches at Forster Square station approach will also be illuminated and the Union Flag will be flown at Centenary Square.
People visiting Bradford city centre can take in the coverage of the Royal wedding as it is shown live on the big screen at City Park.
Lord Mayor, Coun Zafar Ali, said: “We wish Prince Harry and Ms Markle a beautiful wedding and a life filled with everlasting happiness. With many opportunities to celebrate with family, friends or communities, or just watch at home, I hope that everyone across the Bradford district can enjoy this wonderful occasion.”
