A project that was set up in a Bradford city centre gateway has been nominated for a national award.
St Blaise Square, next to Forster Square rail station, will be up against the likes of London’s Oxford Street to win the Lux Award.
The award recognises the best lighting projects across the country.
Last year LED lighting was installed in 10 railway arches, which can illuminate the structure in various colours.
On one occasion, the arches were bathed in claret and amber when Bradford City legend Bobby Campbell died last year.
Bradford Council will know if they have won in November.
