Bradford Council looks set to impose a district wide ban on advertising A-boards.
The Council says the move is widely welcomed by representatives of disabled and other groups and follows a 12-month trial in Ilkley, Saltaire and Leeds Road.
From April 2018, businesses which flout the ban repeatedly can be served with a Community Protection Notice under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act of 2014.
Failing to comply with the Notice can result in a Fixed Penalty Notice of £100 and the confiscation of the A-board.
