A 13-year-old boy who was arrested after another teenager was stabbed has been released without charge.
Shortly after 7.10pm on Tuesday, 17 October, police were called by the Ambulance Service to Worsley Avenue in Moston to reports that a boy had been found with stab wounds.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, now identified as Kyron Webb, was taken to hospital. He is currently in a life-threatening condition.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of a section 18 wounding but has since been eliminated from police enquiries.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for the public’s help to work out exactly what happened.
