A book exploring the history of a Bradford football club has been shortlisted for an award.
Breaking Ground, a book that looks into the Bradford Park Avenue club, which ran until 1973, is going up against biographies of Muhammad Ali and Bob Paisley to win the William Hill Sports Book of the Year - the world’s oldest sports book prize.
The project involved a team of archaeologists, scientists and photographers working at the site of the old ground, off Canterbury Avenue, unearthing stories about the club.
