Residents of Kirklees have been told to be on their guard following an incident with a bogus fish seller.
The incident happened on Monday 2 October at around 1.00pm on Fairfield Rise in Kirkburton.
A male suspect approached the property of an elderly lady stating he was selling fish. The suspect managed to enter the property without the victim’s permission and took some money from the house before leaving a small amount of food in the fridge before leaving.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50-years-old. He spoke with a Yorkshire accent and was wearing a white apron.
