A bid has been put forward to turn a former library in Idle into a community shop.
If Bradford Council accepts the bid the empty building on Albion Road will be turned into a shop where teenagers could be given the opportunity to gain work experience.
The Inspired Neighbourhoods community interest company is opting to transform the Grade II listed structure into what could possibly be a greengrocer’s shop to train youngsters who may not want to choose an academic route.
