A shopkeeper in Beeston has received 80 donated Easter eggs from the local community after his stock was robbed on Wednesday (29 March 2017).
Mick White, 69-years-old, has ran the shop for 28 years. Three teenagers ransacked the store whilst Mr White, working at the time, remained helpless. A local resident raised awareness about the incident on Facebook, resulting in the community coming together to replenish the store.
The shop-owner has said that so far at least 24 different people have come to the shop, leaving Easter eggs and other merchandise for him to sell.
