Police investigating reports of shots fired in the City Road area of Sheffield have arrested four men in connection with the incident.
Armed officers were in Eden Hall Road, Sheffield, on Friday 24 June carrying out enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation.
The arrested men, aged 34, 31, 26 and 19-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
At about 9pm on Wednesday 22 June, officers were called to the City Road area, close to the junction with Eastern Avenue, following reports that shots had been fired at a silver car.
It is believed that the riders of two mopeds fired shots at the car. No one was injured during the incident.
