Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a victim of an assault in Bolton Town Centre.
At around 3.20am on Monday 20 November 2016, police were called to reports that a 44-year-old man had been assaulted on Bradshawgate, Bolton Town Centre.
A man attacked the victim, causing him to fall to the floor leaving him motionless.
The attacker then stamped on the victim’s head causing him to lose consciousness.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with facial injuries. He is now recovering at home.
Officers launched an investigation into the incident and following enquiries, discovered another victim was approached by the same man.
The second victim was punched to his head and body before being punched to the floor. The attacker also stamped on his head.
Police are appealing for anyone with information that would help trace the victim to come forward.
Detective Constable Christopher Hickey of GMP’s Bolton borough, said: “It is extremely important that we find the second victim and make sure that he is okay.
“If you have any information that would help us with our enquiries, please get in touch with us.”
