Police investigating a rape in Ancoats are appealing for witnesses.
Shortly before 3.40am on Sunday 10 December, police were called to reports of a rape on George Leigh Street in Manchester.
A 20-year-old woman was walking back from ‘Guilty’ nightclub on Stevenson Square when she was raped.
The woman then told a person who was nearby what had happened, at which point police were called.
The offender is described as a white man in his mid-20s.
