Detectives in Leeds are appealing for information following an armed robbery at the Leeds Building Society on Street Lane, in Roundhay on Wednesday the 22nd of March.
It occurred at around 2pm, when three suspects armed with a knife entered the premises and threatened staff. The suspects were only able to remove a small quantity of cash before fleeing the scene in a white car that was waiting outside.
There were no injuries to any members of the public or staff at the premises.
Detective Inspector, Amanda Wimbles, of Leeds CID, said: "This was an extremely distressing incident for the staff members involved and for the customers present. Our enquiries remain ongoing and I would urge anyone who has any information on this incident to get in touch with police."
