Police are appealing for anyone who saw a man who is believed to have collapsed on Bradford Road, Batley on Tuesday 26 April.
The 47-year-old local man is thought to have had a medical episode and was found at just before 5pm. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to see how the man came to be on the pavement. A number of people are thought to have given medical assistance prior to the ambulance arriving. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
