A naked man was at large on the streets of Eccles yesterday morning and being sought by police.
Officers were called to a house at 10am yesterday morning following a domestic-related incident.
Officers said the man 'wearing nothing but his birthday suit' has been 'giving them the run around' for over an hour.
Police posted on Facebook that the man fled the house wearing ‘nothing but his birthday suit’ and was hiding around the Boardman Street area.
Sargent Bree Lanyon, of Eccles police, said he has been ‘giving them the run around’ for over an hour and urged local residents to help find him. It’s an on-going investigation relating to an incident at a house in Eccles. We are searching for him to speak to him about an offence. The incident came in at 10am and he’s been giving us the run around since. We think he might have managed to get some items of clothing but he has still got no shoes on.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.
