Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on the Indian Army's 2016 surgical strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan in retaliation to the terror attack on an Army camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. The film is produced under the banner of RSVP and also stars Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina in key roles.
