Detectives investigating the death of Rotherham man Craig Nelson, also known as Craig Preston, have charged a man and a woman with murder. They have also arrested three teenagers.
Mohammed Shiraz Bashir, 41, and Leonie Marie Mason, 23, both of Holme Park Court, Huddersfield, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 30 August) charged with murder and were remanded into custody.
Mr Nelson’s body was found on Monday 22 August on the moors of the A628 at Woodhead Tunnels at about 11am.
A post-mortem examination found that Mr Nelson who is pictured died as a result of head injuries.
Three further arrests have been made in connection with the death.
The 15-year-olds, two boys and one girl, have been arrested.
The boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder and the girl on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
