A 24-year-old man from Bletchley has been convicted of a series of terrorism offences, including membership of the proscribed terrorist organisation Daesh.
A Milton Keynes man has been convicted of a series of terrorism offences following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East.
Abdullah Yousef, 24, of Galapagos Grove, Bletchley, was found guilty by a unanimous jury following a two-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court which concluded on Monday 5 October.
Yousef was convicted of membership of a proscribed organisation, collecting information likely to be useful to somebody committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and six counts of disseminating terrorist publications.
The court heard Yousef had an interest in extremist material linked to Daesh, which is a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK.
Counter-terrorism officers arrested Yousef at his home on 16 December 2025 and seized mobile phones which were subsequently examined.
Investigators said Yousef had established a Telegram channel through which large quantities of terrorist material were made available to others.
Police also discovered an instruction manual containing information about the construction of improvised explosive devices.
The court heard investigators recovered messages in which Yousef expressed support for and claimed membership of Daesh.
He was charged in connection with the investigation on 22 December 2025.
Detective Chief Superintendent Oliver Wright, Head of Counter Terrorism Policing South East, said Yousef had professed to being a member of Daesh and had made significant quantities of terrorist material available to others.
He warned that sharing extremist material could encourage people vulnerable to radicalisation to adopt similar views and potentially become involved in terrorist activity.
