Greater Manchester Police are appealing for dash cam footage after a collision in Wigan left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
Shortly after 6am on Thursday 5 April, police were called to reports that a motorcycle had collided with roadworks on Wigan Lane.
A red Honda 997cc motorbike had been traveling through roadworks on Wigan Lane heading towards the town centre, when the man riding it fell from his bike.
The 31-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment of his serious injuries.
Police Constable Paul Hailwood of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Thankfully only one person was injured in this incident and I wish him a speedy recovery.
“We are piecing together how this collision happened and are asking for anyone with dash cam footage to send this to police.”
