A man has been arrested in connection with the death of Bradley Moore in Ashton under Lyne.
Shortly before 10.50pm on Wednesday 27 July 2016 police were called to Warrington Street in Ashton town centre to reports of an assault.
Officers attended and discovered 43-year-old Bradley Moore who was seriously injured.
Bradley was taken to hospital where he sadly died in the early hours of Thursday 28 July 2016.
A Home Office post mortem confirmed he died as a result of multiple injuries.
Four youths - a 12-year-old boy, two 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy - have since been charged with murder and appeared at court.
Further information has come to light through police enquiries indicating Bradley may have been involved in a collision with a car shortly after being assaulted.
This information has been shared with all of the relevant parties and significant enquiries remain ongoing.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving today (Thursday 4 August 2016).
Detective Superintendent Jon Chadwick, from GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “We currently have one man in custody who is being questioned by police.
“Our investigation remains very much active and we continue to offer our condolences and support to Bradley’s family at this difficult time.”
